Students who are planning to apply for the Global Korea Scholarship (GKS) are strongly encouraged to register for the 108th TOPIK in the UK.

TOPIK is an important way to show your Korean language ability, and it can strengthen your future GKS application. Under recent GKS guidelines, applicants with a valid TOPIK certificate at Level 3 or above may receive additional consideration during the selection process. Applicants with higher TOPIK levels may also benefit later in the scholarship process.

For students who are thinking about graduate study in Korea or preparing for a future GKS application, this is a good opportunity to take the test in advance.

The 108th TOPIK in the UK will be held as follows:

• Test date: Saturday 17 October 2026


• Application deadline: Sunday 26 July 2026, 11:59 PM (BST)


• Test locations: London, Sheffield, Preston, York and Bristol


• Application method: Online only
