Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK) in the UK
Objective
The TOPIK, Test of Proficiency in Korean, is a written test designed to measure the ability of non-native speakers for expression and comprehension in the Korean language.
Eligibility
Non-Koreans and overseas Koreans whose native language is not Korean
TOPIK Dates in the UK 2024
- The 93rd TOPIK : 13 April 2024 (UK application : 8 January ~ 4 February 2024)
- The 96th TOPIK : 12 October 2024 (UK application : 1~28 July 2024)

- TOPIK I : £50
- TOPIK II : £60

Special Exam Arrangements
If you would like to apply for special exam arrangements, you should submit the following form and supporting documents while you complete the online TOPIK application form :
- Application Form for Special Services for Disabled Applicants
- Supporting document : Certification of Disability from NHS OR Doctor’s written diagnosis
Please note :
- Late applications will not be considered.
- The special arrangements are not guaranteed as it will be considered by the TOPIK head office under the international TOPIK policy.
Cancellation
We will notify you by email and announce on our website if the exam is going to be cancelled, in which case your fee will be fully refunded.
If you cancel your exam due to personal circumstances, 40% of your test fee will be refunded. You will need to cancel and request your refund by submitting the Cancellation and Refund Request Form no later than 6 October 2024 via the following link :

TOPIK Result and Score Report
- TOPIK result will be released on the following dates:
– The 93rd TOPIK : Thursday 30 May 2024
– The 96th TOPIK : Thursday 28 November 2024 - You can check your score and print your report from the Official TOPIK Website which can be accessed on a computer, not on mobile devices.
- You do not need to sign up to check your score. You will only need your date of birth and your registration number which can be found on your identification slip.
- Your score report will be available in digital version only. Printed version is not available unfortunately.
- Please note that we do not send you a printed or digital copy individually.
- TOPIK score is valid for two years. Within the valid period, you have unlimited access to your result online at the TOPIK Website.
- For technical issues in printing your score report, please contact TOPIK Korean office at topik@korea.kr.
