The TaLK program provides a unique opportunity for a firsthand experience of Korean culture and the joy of teaching English.
Korean Government Invites Undergraduate Students
￭ Positions: Korean elementary Schools in rural areas teaching after-school English classes
￭ Eligibility
ㆍ Overseas Korean residents or English native speakers from Australia, Canada, New Zealand, U.K., U.S.A., Ireland, and South Africa
ㆍUndergraduate students with two or more years of education, at an accredited college or university
* Ethnic Koreans who are in the 1st or 2nd year of college/university are eligible also.
* University graduates and graduate school students are eligible also
￭ Duties, Allowance & Benefits
ㆍ Six months or one year contract, starting August 2008
ㆍ Teaching hours: 15hrs/week
ㆍ Allowance: 1.5 million KRW/month(approximately 1,500 USD)
ㆍ Benefits: round-trip airfare, housing, settlement allowance,
medical insurance, cultural experiences & Korean language acquisition

TaLK 프로그램은 한국에서 영어를 가르치고 한국문화를 체험할 수 있는 특별한 기회입니다.
한국정부는 대학생 여러분들을 초청합니다.
￭ 모집대상 : 한국 농어촌지역 초등학교의 방과후학교 영어지도 교사
￭ 지원자격
ㆍ재외동포 또는 원어민 (호주, 캐나다, 뉴질랜드, 아일랜드, 영국, 미국, 남아공 거주)으로 4년제 대학 학부 과정 2년 이상을 이수한 재학생
ㆍ 2년제 대학(커뮤니티 칼리지) 및 대학원생도 지원 가능
ㆍ 2학년 수료/졸업예정자 및 기 졸업자도 지원 가능
￭ 근무조건, 장학금 및 혜택
ㆍ근무기간 : 6개월 또는 1년(2008. 8월부터)
ㆍ수업시수 : 주당 15시간
ㆍ장 학 금 : 매월 150만원(약 $1,500)
ㆍ혜 택 : 왕복항공권, 주거지원, 정착금, 의료보험,
문화체험 및 한국어 습득기회 제공
