Korean Studies Workshop for European Educators
2009 Korean Studies Workshop for European Educators will be held from July 16 to 29, 2009 (2 weeks), aimed for teachers and textbook authors of social studies(history, politics, economics, geography, sociology, culture, international understanding, etc) at secondary schools.
The objective of this workshop is to promote teachings about Korea in the secondary schools of the European countries and to contribute to the enhancement of mutual understanding and friendship between the European countries and Korea.
The workshop will include lectures, tours, and meetings with Korean educators and students. Lectures covering politics, the economy, history, culture and society of Korea will be given in English. The Korean Government will pay all the expenses, such as international airfare, hotel accommodation, meals and domestic transportation.
